Kerri Flood HOM, DCHN

Kerri works alongside Dr. Kellerstein in the CCHM Teaching Clinic.  She also sees patients at her own clinic in Toronto (390 Dupont St.), and offers a house call service too.  Kerri comes from a long line of women who have known how to work with nature and the body’s own strengths to preserve health and treat illness. After graduating from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine and starting a practice, she discovered that many patients could benefit from additional support, so she completed my Holistic Nutrition diploma with the Edison Institute of Nutrition. Considering her love of food and the pleasure eating brings, she has really enjoyed expanding this aspect of her practice, and she now weaves nutritional healing and support into her practice with great success.
Kerri loves practicing holistic medicine; it gives her the chance to combine the knowledge and wisdom that has been passed on to her, with her education and passion for helping people. She feels profoundly privileged every time a patient places their trust in her and lets her help them find their path to health. It is a privilege that she takes very seriously.

Course Overview

This course is designed to provide homeopathic students with a comprehensive understanding the obstacles to cure they are likely to encounter in their practices, with the goal of enabling students to recognize and remediate these obstacles. One of the most common and significant obstacles to cure that practitioners face is diet and nutrient deficiencies. To address these, students are instructed on: the principles of metabolism; the fundamentals of diet and nutrition; and the effects of nutritional deficiencies. Throughout the course there is a focus on how and what students will see in their practice including: common pathologies associated with errors in diet (e.g.
diabetes); issues associated with lifestyle obstacles (e.g. heart disease, autoimmune issues); and diet trends and lifestyles (e.g. paleo, keto, plant based, etc.).
Included along with the pre-recorded units of this course are live Q&A sessions scheduled throughout each school year to give students an opportunity to engage in deeper discussions with Kerri about the material they are learning.
