Course Overview

This course is designed for homeopathic students with a limited background in the physical and biological sciences and serves as an introduction to the basic medical sciences. The details of the structure and function of the human body will be presented to provide the fundamental knowledge and skill set required for the understanding of medical terminology and concepts that will enable the student to understand health, disease processes, and homeostatic imbalances. This course is a prerequisite for Pathophysiology. Included along with the pre-recorded units of this course are live Q&A sessions scheduled throughout each school year to give students an opportunity to engage in deeper discussions with Veronika about the material they are learning. Students are required to attend a minimum of 2 live sessions, or if a student is not able to attend any live sessions while enrolled in a course, we ask that they submit questions for at least 2 sessions in lieu of live attendance. Students may attend as many of these live sessions as they would like once they are enrolled in the course. Additional support for this course is provided via the College office staff.

Learning Objectives
