CCHM Partner Schools
In 2020 four accredited schools of Classical Homeopathy founded the Council of Homeopathic Schools and Colleges in an effort to collaborate on excellence, growth and sustainability of homeopathic education. The Council leadership and member schools are committed to maintaining, refining and advancing standards of homeopathic education in support of a recognized homeopathic profession. The essential knowledge and skills taught by all member schools aims at graduating highly skilled homeopathic professionals who will practice Classical Homeopathy as safe, and effective form of mainstream healthcare.
Bowen College CBHT Program
In our ongoing efforts to ensure our graduates are optimally prepared for success in practice, we are excited to announce our most recent affiliation with the Bowen College. Both Colleges share a passion for excellence.
Together we have created a unique curriculum for students of Homeopathy to have the opportunity to concurrently qualify as Certified Bowen Health Therapists (CBHT) with Bowen College. Bowen College is the only Bowen Therapy training school that has an independent accreditation from the Canadian Examining Board of Healthcare Practitioners (CEBHCP) & Bowen Therapist Professional Association (BTPA). Graduated students of CCHM and Bowen College can receive credit exemption for some of the courses necessary for graduation with this alternate program with either college. Numerous practitioners incorporate both of these modalities into their scope of practice as both curriculums are very complementary to each other.
As a Bowen student proceeding to CCHM or a CCHM student proceeding to Bowen College, you will be exempt from both Anatomy & Physiology and Nutrition, having already successfully completed these courses with your originating school. Credit will be given with either school for these courses allowing you to have flexibility in your studies as you move towards graduation.
Program Details
Bowen's program has been designed specifically to work in and around your studies at CCHM and is done in part by Distance Education on your own time through our online courses. The CBHT Program will allow you to address overall physiological stress as well as pain through treatment with Bowen Therapy. Completion of the requirements for becoming a Certified Bowen Health Therapist through Bowen College is self-paced and will allow eligibility to become a member of the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners (CEBHP) and apply for their designation CBHT (Certified Bowen Health Therapist).
Currently, Bowen College offers all CCHM students interested in becoming Certified Bowen Health Therapists an entry package that allows them to fulfill the online requirements for Bowen Therapy.
The CCHM package includes:
Functional Muscle Anatomy
Meridian Connections
Reboot Your Body Home Study Video Series
*Students signing up for the CCHM affiliate package will be invited to the first day of a Healing Accelerator Workshop at no additional cost. This is a Level 100 Basic Bowen Body Protocols hands-on training course to get a 'taste of Bowen', experience the effects of the therapy, how to apply it, as well as have the credits account towards the practical requirements for CBHT qualification.
Holistic Nutrition Program
In our efforts to ensure our graduates are optimally prepared for success in practice, we are excited to announce our affiliation with the Edison Institute of Nutrition. Both Colleges share a passion for excellence.
Together we have created a unique fast-track program giving students of Homeopathy the opportunity to concurrently earn a diploma in Holistic Nutrition (D.H.N.).
As a CCHM student, you will be exempt from many of the courses required to earn your D.H.N., as you will already be covering all health science courses in the Homeopathic Diploma Program. This course has been designed specifically to work in and around your studies at CCHM and is done by Distance Education on your own time. Upon completion of the Practitioner Diploma Program in Holistic Nutrition, you will receive the title Holistic Nutritionist, from the Edison Institute of Nutrition. You will be eligible to become a member of the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP) and apply for their designation RNT (Registered Nutritional Therapist) and/or the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC) and apply for their ROHP designation (Registered Orthomolecular Holistic Practitioner).
