Which accomplishment/event/moment are you most proud of in your career as a Homeopath?

The most wonderful moments are when I hear from a patient “I want to tell you... I am much, much better now. Thank you.” My numerous hours of intense thinking, repertorizing and researching are behind, and the patient is sitting in front of me with a warm look and happy smile! Especially, if in the beginning there were so many problems that I was not sure on which to focus first.

What 3 aspects of your Homeopathic education contributed the most to your success?

1. First and most important aspect of my successful Homeopathic education was studying with the very knowledgeable and talented teachers at CCHM (Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine). The teachers are just brilliant!

2. As well, extremely important was observing our teachers and participating in Clinical training, where homeopathic theory meets with real patients struggling from diseases. Without these Friday’s clinic I would never be confident that I can apply my knowledge to treat patients by my own. Even now when I take a case, I hear the soft voice of our clinic supervisor “Now tell me please how your reaction to sun is?” And I never forget to ask this and other questions.

3. And finally, all courses were so well designed and effective, from the first semester to the last, that during these three years I have gained everything necessary to start practicing homeopathy immediately after graduation.

Share with us a recent and successful case treated with Homeopathic Medicine. 

This is a case of “strange UTI”. The symptoms were quite unusual, since my patient 5 years old girl had no pain, only very frequent, each 15-minutes trips to washroom. Before seeing me, she started antibiotic treatment but has to stop it because of progressive diarrhea. During the interview I have noticed that the girl has UTI symptoms only from Sunday night to Friday morning; everything was OK during week-end. After asking “Why?” few times, it became obvious that my patient has strong anxiety from going to school. The girl was inborn leader but did not speak English well, so nobody in class was playing with her. After two doses of homeopathic remedy which addressed her emotional state all “UTI” symptoms gone.
