Our Homeopathy and Health Sciences Diploma Program is accredited by ACHENA, the only professional accreditation organization in North America. Formerly the Council on Homeopathic Education. ACHENA was founded in 1982 as an independent autonomous agency to assess homeopathic training in the United States and Canada. Accreditation by ACHENA is recognition granted to educational institutions and professional programs affiliated with those institutions for a level of quality and integrity which entitles them to the confidence of the general public, the educational community, governmental agencies, and other agencies and organizations.
CCHM achieved accreditation through ACHENA in 1999. As a result, the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC) has recognized CCHM graduates as having the eligibility criteria to apply for the CHC exam for certification in the US. You may write this exam in Canada, if you so choose. While this is not a requirement in Canada, It is a very respected designation in the US.
Academic program review and approval is intimately linked to individual registration requirements, as graduation from an approved academic program in Homeopathy is one of the requirements for becoming a Homeopath registered directly into Full Class. Our Homeopathy and Health Sciences Diploma Program is recognized and approved by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario, the regulatory licensing body for homeopathy in the province.
Arizona is one of the few U.S. states with a formal licensing board dedicated to homeopathy. CCHM’s accredited programs fulfill the educational requirements set forth by this board, allowing our graduates to pursue licensure and practice legally within the state. To apply to be a registered homeopath with the Arizona State Licensing Board, students must have completed either the CHC or Homeopathic Physicians Licensing Examination (HPLEX) exam.
CCHM’s Live Online Diploma Program is also recognized by the UK Society of Homeopaths, meaning graduates are eligible for membership, can apply for the RSHom credential, and can access professional benefits for practicing homeopathy in the UK.
