College of Homeopaths of Ontario, Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America, and Council for Homeopathic Certification

College of Homeopaths of Ontario - APPROVED

Academic program review and approval is intimately linked to individual registration requirements, as graduation  from an approved academic program in Homeopathy is one of the requirements for becoming a Homeopath registered directly into Full Class. Our Three-year In-Class Professional Diploma Program in Homeopathy and Health Sciences is recognized and approved by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario, the regulatory licensing body for homeopathy in the province.

In addition, Our Three Year In Class Professional Diploma Program in Homeopathy and Health Sciences is accredited by the only professional accreditation organization in North America:Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA), formerly the Council on Homeopathic Education. ACHENA was founded in 1982 as an independent autonomous agency to assess homeopathic training in the United States and Canada. Accreditation by ACHENA is recognition granted to educational institutions and professional programs affiliated with those institutions for a level of quality and integrity which entitles them to the confidence of the general public, the educational community, governmental agencies, and other agencies and organizations.

Council for Homeopathic Certification

CCHM achieved accreditation through ACHENA in 1999.  As a result, the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC) has recognized CCHM graduates having met the required educational eligibility criteria to apply for and take the exam since that time. Graduates from the Distance Education Program wishing to write the CHC exam after January 1st, 2020, will be required to complete an additional 65 hours of clinical training, which CCHM can provide; please ask us for details.
