Trauma and Bladder - What Gives? By Beverly Isla

In keeping with this month's theme of Trauma and Disaster, my friend Karolina's 4 year old daughter Dominika has been going through a stressful time in her life and is still coping with it. Let's paint the picture here. Karolina and her husband had split up a year and a half ago. Dominika realized that her parents will not be getting back together after having high hopes they would.

The Attitude of Gratitude and Homeopathy

One of our 3rd year students was published in the Students Corner of "The Canadian Homeopath" February 2013 issue. Today's blog is a copy of that article contributed by Jennifer Metzger BAA.

Gelsemium to the rescue!

Gesemium sempervirens...yellow jasmine. This remedy is like an old friend to me but I hadn't it used it for awhile until recently. My dog Bella started to show some unmistakeable symptoms. She is an active, sensitve Border Collie and has experienced some upheaval in her life over the past few months (NWS hearing bad news - although for a dog it is the incredible sensing of bad news and its lingering effects).

Experiencing Homoeopathy in India

I just returned from an amazing trip to Agra in the north of India, where I had the unique opportunity to participate at a Seminar on Applied Homoeopathy held by the world-renowned homoeopaths Dr. Alok Pareek and Dr. R.S. Pareek.

Homeopathy for the Traveler

I used to travel a lot for work. I enjoyed the opportunity to experience different cities and countries, but the years of business travel to take a toll. When I started to feel periodic claustrophobia in a plane, I knew I needed to find help. I decided to explore natural solutions. Using a combination of homeopathy, flower essences and acupuncture points I became a happy traveler once more!

This Winter's Flu and Homeopathy

Homeopaths offer an alternative to the flu shot which has been clinically proven to be effective in the treatment of primary flu-related symptoms such as chills, muscle aches and fever. The homeopathic flu remedy is derived from the virus of the present flu circulating, minus the mercury and other toxic preservatives and bonding agents.

Day 1

After the blood-pumping seminar with Dr. Farouk Master; Cheryl, Brigitte, Spero and I spent three days in the foothills of the Himalayas. Spero Latchi, a homeopath who lives in India, runs a homeopathic clinic in the city of Bir.   Spero’s objective was to touch base with some of his remote patients living in small isolated villages.

Listening to my body...The experience of my pregnancy by Naomi Hyodo

A radio interview with a Recent Graduate from CCHM

The small, rural town of Erin has a population of about 12,000 and is home to notable residents such as Gordon Downie (Lead singer of the Tragically Hip) and Mike Clattenburg (Film Maker). So when I was invited for an interview on the Erin Main Street Radioʼs “Business Intelligence” show to showcase my homeopathic practice I jumped at the opportunity to showcase Homeopathy.
