Thanks to Karen DeNoble a CCHM Alumni for this week;s blog!
Stressed? Over worked and over tired?? Forgetting the simplest of things like; where you put your keys, or your postal code; or maybe you are stuck for an answer when someone asks; “..And your name is?” Uh huh.. me too. Funny little story here I’d like to share.
I’ve purchased a new car from Nissan. After going a decade sans automobile it was high time I got back into the 21st century and purchased a vehicle. I adore my Versa; it's awesome on gas; tons of room in the front and back and it drives like a dream! My 'time issues' have been semi-successfully dealt with as I now have the ability to be in four places at the same time if you count the phone, text messaging and cyber space.
I was racing around here like a fart in a windstorm one morning this past autumn. I gathered up my papers and post office stuff; packed my purse; packed my 'travelling/laptop bag'; grabbed my 'NO Frills' canvas grocery bags; shifted the weight to the middle of my back and slid into my 'walking shoes' and headed out the door, late… as per usual. I went scurrying by the parking lot – the full length of the parking lot...as I ran around the corner squinting at my cell phone clock ; trying to do the mental addition on when the city bus was headed by and in which direction...because I was going to be late... as usual...cursing the fact that I don’t have...a damn car of my own…am stuck riding the bus .. on a day like today… always late.. wish I had a car… (uh.. oh gosh!)
I got halfway to the bus-stop before I remembered...I had a car! Habit? Maybe. Going insane? You betcha! Lack of Vitamin B’s? Probably.
B Class vitamins assist the body and mind providing energy and boosting the memory and fighting stress. As well as helping the body to remain active and on the go; B vitamins provide a healthy glow to the skin and keep that organ very healthy. (Remember, the skin is your largest organ!). B Class vitamins also increase the metabolism and assist the joints and tendons in recovery from stress and strain; assisting in flexibility and mobility. B vitamins help in counteracting depression and some cardiac disease as well. How do you get your B vitamins? Well you are going to love this! Drink Beer!! No kidding, beer, potatoes, sea food, and bananas are a wonderful source of Vitamin B’s. So, if you see a confused curly haired Homeopath sauntering down the street with a large fry in one hand, beer in the other munching on a banana you’ll know it’s me and you’ll know I’m just trying to help myself remember where I parked the car I nearly forgot I had. Be Well!!
