Is There A Silver Lining?

By Beverly Isla

Our hearts go out to those affected by the Boston marathon bombing yesterday afternoon. This horrific event left 3 dead and over 140 injured. I don’t usually watch or read news but it was all over the place. Just looking at the photos, I feel like reaching for Ignatia. It’s quite easy to get swept into the horrific details of the event. Until I thought….wait….

On the upside of it, people came together to help each other out. Just after 3pm yesterday, time must have stopped for those in that area. Nothing mattered except where’s their loved ones and helping those injured. The daily stresses of life were put on hold, while life and death overtook the atmosphere.

What does this have to do with homeopathy?

Homeopathy contains the microlaws of the Universe, where bigger forces we cannot imagine are orchestrating our well-being, EVEN when there is an aggravation. A case of pimples, for example, can be our systems’ way of pushing out toxicity. The patient may be extremely uncomfortable but as a practitioner, we would know to treat and wait. We learn to play with the energy rather than resist.

Disasters are the planets’ pimples. This planet is being orchestrated by the Universe in ways that we cannot analyze nor judge. Yes, it is horrific that suffering and tragedy has to be involved. But society is shedding its’ old skin to make way for its’ renewal. Disasters and destruction is an expression of ‘breaking down’ paradigms that cannot serve in the new phase that Earth has entered.

As bystanders to these events that news are forecasting, the energies of fear, anger, sorrow infiltrate our minds, but trust is the important mental state we need. Trust that our planet is healing, in its’ own way. We can help facilitate that process through love; not resentment, hatred, anger.
