“Our body can heal itself, we just need to find the right remedy.”

Rubina S, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan My name is Rubina Sheraz and I am a resident of the one and only border city, Lloydminster SK. I was born in Pakistan but we moved to Canada when I was in Grade 10. I completed my GED from Holy Rosary High School. After completing my GED I got married and now I am blessed with two beautiful kids and a very blessed life. When I was younger, and every time I fell ill, my Grandma used to give me some magic white little tiny candies that always made me feel better. I don’t remember taking pain killers for my fever, sore throat, headache etc. Always fascinated by how my Grandparents know all these difficult names of these magic candies. And that was my introduction to Homeopathic Medicines. Later I found out that my great Grandparents were the best Homeopath from India and that’s what my Grandparents adopted. My Grandma studied Homeopathic studies after she had 2 kids and they both have an experience of more than 50 years. My Grandma always gave the medicines to my kids when they fell ill and as much as I wanted to learn I always thought that why do I need to learn, Grandma is here. Until couple years ago in 2015 my Grandma left us and found the eternal peace. My grandfather tried to continue his practice but couldn’t bear the loss of his partner and now he is suffering from stage 3 cancer, which according to the doctors, will be too painful for him and bringing him back in next 6 months will be too late. Now we are in contact with my only aunt back home who is a Homeopath and she is prescribing medicines to my Grandpa. According to the Doctors who said 6 months will be too late, here they are trying to run tests and CT scan and are amazed as to what we are giving him that is reducing the cancer to spread and how he is still with us after 2 years. My life circled around my family and grandparents and now after experiencing on my own for more than 27 years, the wonders of homeopathic medicines, my belief in it just grew stronger. I was always fascinated when I was told that you need to believe in it to work! And it did! I would love to study homeopathic studies and would love to continue what my Grandparents enjoyed doing and want to make them proud. To me human body is not an auto body where you can take parts out and change it. We need to respect our body and understand that the creator of our body created us in such beautiful way that our body can heal itself, we just need to find the right remedy.
