Things are settling in nicely as this school year gets into full swing! The Autumn is always a time of new beginnings - even though the leaves are falling. The students are refreshed from having the summer off and excited to see their colleagues and begin a new year together. There is an excellent Homeopathy conference coming up soon - next weekend. The Canadian Homeopathic Conference 2012 which is being held near the airport. The Professional Networking evening later in October is a wonderful time for alumni - especially our most recent alumni, to get together again and spend time at the college! Study Week is filling up...Kim Elia will be back lecturing. The school year cycles through!
As I write this blog, the Year 2 class is in clinic, here at the school, spending a full day learning and exploring. Their skills become more developed each year, with each new lecturer. It is great to see the progress from observers in Year 1 to full participants in Year 2. I am enjoying the opportuity to observe and participate as registrar. It is interesting how this position has been helpful for my own homeopathic skills. The sense of community amongst homeopaths and students is so valuable for our profession. It seems we have come to this fine art and science from so many different backgrounds, so many different ways and yet we have all answered the same clarion call! How fortunate we are. Thank you Raymond and Joyce for creating this opportunity for all us to learn this precious medicine!
