Let’s Celebrate Our Evolution!

I am so grateful to be working at CCHM! It’s not every day that you get to celebrate with great people, eat hors d'oeuvres, and amazingly enough with one or two celebrity homeopaths.

Camera in the other. Check. Click to view our photos

Conversations and networking all around. Check.

As any evening should always start, so did our 2nd ever Professional Networking Evening, with food and smiles. This night was special as we welcome BLUEPRINT Wholistic Health Clinic, as our affiliate internship clinic and we celebrate CCHM’s evolution.

Following some great food and conversation I was so excited to be part of a very privileged audience about to listen and dialogue with members of the Transitional Council of the College of Homeopaths of Ontario and with a world renowned Homeopath.

Basil Ziv, Janet Blanchard and Eden Gajraj presented us with a very educational understanding of what the Transitional Council of the College of Homeopath’s of Ontario does. I now understand how this, actually very interesting, process occurs. And just in case you didn’t know, a Transitional Council always keeps the public in mind as they are a body put in place to make sure that laws are passed with the public’s best interest always at the forefront. It is a very long, pain staking and educational process for every member as they have to educate themselves in order to make the right decisions for the public. Thank you very much, Basil, Janet and Eden your presence and information it is appreciated by all who attended.

Who better to follow up at an event with a bunch of homeopaths, than a famous homeopath himself! Kim Elia gave a very entertaining lecture, as always, on analysis as he presented a case of Lac felinum. He always brings excitement and a little comedy to his lectures. Really!

Kim also brought a very inspirational, and the first ever Canadian viewing of, Homeopathy Around the World - Carol Boyce's documentary about the numerous charitable causes being run by Homeopaths around the globe. Please donate now at WholeHealthNow, where you may also purchase this video as a great addition to your waiting room or Homeopathic workshop.

I want to thank everyone on behalf of CCHM and BLUEPRINT for contributing to this wonderful event. If we continue to come together like this the impact of the positive differences we strive to make in the health field as homeopaths will only create bigger ripples. As a College, we want to contribute through education and as such stay tuned next week to our Blog as we will begin a series on the government process that the Transitional Council of the College of Homeopaths has been given the task to do. We will explain what it is that you need to understand to contribute and make a difference in the years to come.
