Last year I volunteered at a wonderful medical clinic in Beamsville, Ontario, that helps migrant workers. Usually the workers are here for 6 to 8 months of the year.
This clinic will start again in February, but this time out of the 4 Sundays the clinic is open, we will be doing 2 Sundays of homeopathy! However, as a project we need help, everything will be run on a volunteer and donation basis, since the workers in general do not have a lot of money, so the medical clinic is free.
Right now we are looking for remedy donations, Spanish translators, as well as donations in general, and specifically donations for travel expenses (the average trip to Beamsville for the volunteers is $30). Any help is appreciated.
Myself (Patricia), and fellow CCHM grads, Narda Alcantara, Lise Arsenault, Thera Ip, and Secil Nuri have all confirmed that they will be volunteering, so I'm very excited. There is an open invitation for others to join.
The idea will be to work in teams of 2 or 3 homeopaths every Sunday, so we might each be working once a month. Narda and I will also be translating for the nurses and medical doctors. The amount of help we can give depends largely on how many Spanish translators the clinic gets to volunteer.
Please get in touch with Patricia Ceciarelli 905 467 8008 / 905 467 4058, [email protected] if you would like to contribute or volunteer. We hope to be running this free homeopathy clinic twice per month for 7 months starting in February.
