I’m Ready To Learn Homeopathy

From Cindy T., Paramaribo, Suriname

I have always been attracted to the path of healing.  I personally prefer the more natural ways of taking care of myself.  Whenever I feel sick I would prefer to stay away from any OTC meds.  I would try all kinds of home remedies first.   I love to use Boiron products for my colds especially.  I always travel with my vials of Oscillococcinum.

Unless it is utterly necessary to take something fast and stronger to get me back to my routine, I’d rather stay away from harmful chemical stuff left in my body after taking these drugs.

I remembered as a child, fascinated by the Chinese herbalist weighting and pulling out all these interesting herbs to create these healing potions.

I wondered if one day I would obtain that knowledge as well.

However, being where I have been and still am; the chances are slim to none to ever being able to take a course like that in Suriname.

I came across the homeopathy pamphlet on one of my trips to Toronto in the health food store.  The science behind homeopathy is fascinating to me.  This is in a way similar to my interest in Herbalism.

When I saw that it is possible to do this online, I was thrilled.  I wanted to apply for the past two years and something always came up.

However, I think my time to do the course has finally come.  I am ready now to devote my time to homeopathy.  I am looking forward to be able to help others with homeopathic remedies instead of drugs.

I have always felt the need to heal others.   I also think that it is of great importance to treat each patient’s illness with proper knowledge and detailed history of the patient first.  This will allow for a more accurate and in depth treatment to the real issue that caused the illness in the first place.  This approach to me is far more agreeable then just a superficial doctor’s visit, where antibiotics would be easily prescribed for minor cold symptoms.  Treat the body with what it needs to help heal itself and not put in unnecessary chemicals that cause more harm in the long run then heal.
