As a young girl growing up in the Philippines, I had observed our mother using different healing modalities when our family had an illness. She would make an appointment for us to see our general practitioner family doctor the next day. In the meantime, she would send for the local “shaman” or healer. This healer would make low incantations while making a sign of the cross on our forehead, chest and abdomen with a freshly cut ginger root.
I suffered from asthma as a child and my parents would take me to medical doctors as well as herbalists and psychic surgeons.
During my pregnancy in 1991, I decided to explore Homeopathic Remedies, Flower Essences and herbal medicine. I took every CEU class which focused on Homeopathy and herbal medicine. I was fortunate to be able to attend a year-long Herbwyfe course by our local herbalist/healer, Bronwen Gates.
When our son was about 6 or 7 years old, my mother came to visit our home. She made an observation regarding the dramatic change in our son’s behavior. One moment, he was laying on the couch, feeling low energy and the next moment jumping around and playing after I had given him a remedy. I is my deepest desire and wish to be able to alleviate or moderate suffering in human beings without harm to them in body, mind and spirit. I sincerely believe that Homeopathic Medicine is a modality which can help human beings through difficulties in life and progress to their goals and achievements.
