“I am committed to be a homeopath with an objective for my family to have a better and healthier life, and help others whenever I can”

From Calvin C., Hong Kong.

In the year of 2010, I was an Associate Director of a world-leading electronic component distributor. At that time I was working hard for my work, extremely busy every day with tones of meetings, paper works and travels; eventually I got sick. Same as most of the people in Hong Kong, I went to consult my family doctor for diagnosis. After some tests including blood tests and MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scans, my doctor told me that I was fine; no abnormal finding was shown in my test reports. However, I felt unwell physically and psychologically. Eventually, I quitted the job and tried to find ways to heal myself. I increased the amount of exercises in my daily life, changed my diet and applied environmental psychology to improve my living place setting. I hoped these actions and changes may heal my sickness, but they could not! My family members recommended me to consult a Chinese doctor; she applied herbs and acupuncture on my case. By the meantime, I received Chinese ancient massage every week to improve my blood circulation and muscle flexibility.

The above therapies inspired me that our body has self-healing capability and Western medicine is not the only choice for us as a patient. Occasionally, I learned Naturopathy that is a method of treatment using natural remedies to help our body to heal itself. Recently I heard an alternative healing method called homeopathy from the Internet, it is totally new to me and attracted my attention. By my knowledge, homeopathy means each person is treated as a unique individual and his/her body, mind, spirit and emotions are all considered in the management and prevention of illness. Homeopathy attracted me, and I would like to become a homeopath; it is because homeopathy is a method of treatment not only considering people’s body health but also mental status. I found that the Homeopathy may be one of the safest treatments for human being, as well as it is also environmentally friendly when applying for homeopathic medicine. Finally, I am committed to be a homeopath with an objective for my family to have a better and healthier life, and help others whenever I can.
