A Day In the Life of a Homeopath: Mark Canadic HLC, DCHM

1.What inspired you to become a homeopath? I was inspired to become a homeopath because of my journey through my own struggles with mental, physical, emotional and spiritual pain. This gave me the desire and empathy to learn about all the facets of disease and strive to help people through their healing journeys. 2.What does your average day as a homeopath look like? On an average day I wake up, prepare my meals for the day, practise some working-IN or meditation along with some goal setting and affirmations. I then go to the clinic and help clients throughout the day making sure that I take care of myself first with adequate nutrition and exercise to stay focused and present for each person. I then create content and plan for the upcoming days and weeks ahead as well as sculpting the vision I see for myself. I usually end the day with something creative, fun and relaxing to wind down the day. 3. What do you most love about being a homeopath? The thing I love most to being a homeopath is the unique problem solving required for each individual person because nobody is the same and no homeopathic remedy works for everyone. 5. We don't need to know what you had for breakfast, but I'm sure it was healthy and delicious, so do tell! What did you have for breakfast? For breakfast I had a some lightly fried turkey hearts and livers, baked yams, homemade red sauerkraut, brazil nuts, steamed broccoli and salsa. 6. Tell us a little about your life before you became a homeopath. Before I became a homeopath I was in highschool and loved learning about different "secrets" that the universe had created that seemed to govern our lives but we regularly didn't pay attention to. I exercised often and participated in many different forms of group meditations such as drum circles, group reiki, transcendental meditation, hot yoga etc. 7. How did you change your life through homeopathy? Homeopathy gave me a means by which I can better serve the world and help the empowerment and healing of myself as well as others. 9. What are three key memories from your experience at CCHM? Philosophy class with Joe blowing our minds over and over again. John millers materia medica giving us the intricate details of remedies and their far reaching origins and actions. Graduation with some of the smartest and most beautiful girls. 10. What obstacles did you have to overcome in order to become a homeopath? I see my future in homeopathy growing to include a refining of the mental physical and dietary hygiene offered in homeopathic schools around the world.
