I want to share this story about my experience with Apis Mellifica 200c potency last week. My daughter and I were having breakfast together before she headed off to school. I made rolled oats and put cinnamon and maple syrup on top with some blueberries. Within minutes of finishing our meal my daughter says "Mum look at my arms what is going on". The reaction came on quickly and aggressively. Her arms were red hot and very itchy. I ran down to grab the Apis and promptly put 4 pellets into her mouth. As they dissolved I gave her another 3 pellets. She said it was spreading to her legs, stomach, and scalp. I gave her another 3 pellets now feeling quite concerned asking if she had any sensations in her throat. After giving her 4 doses of dry pellets I put 2 pellets into a bottle of water and succussed (strike the bottle hard) 5 times and got her to sip. I did this every 5 minutes until she started to feel the relief and I was satisfied that this was finally calming down. I gave her approximately 5 doses of water potency, then drove her to school with the bottle and instructions for her to succuss and sip as she felt she needed. The reason I wanted to share this story was to let people know that they can put remedies into water in order for them to act quickly and effectively in acute situations. I have many more stories to share about acutes and remedies in water if anyone is interested in hearing about them. This is a good time of year to carry Apis Mellifica with you, not just for bee stings but for any allergic situation like the one above.
