So, You Want to Become a Homeopath?

The first step is to gain a clear understanding of what is and isn’t Homeopathy. Believe it or not, there is a lack of clarity about what is and isn’t Homeopathy. Homeopathy is a form of natural medicine with a specific set of scientific principles. So, it makes sense that you need to follow these principles in order to be practicing Homeopathy. Right? If we extend this logic, then any method that tries to dilute, change or simplify Homeopathy, is not Homeopathy. These ‘modern methods’ are not really Homeopathy. Over the 200+ year history of Homeopathy, those Homeopaths that followed Hahnemann (pure Homeopathy) most closely have been the most successful. As a prospective student we want you to be able to achieve similar success in your practice.
The next step is to talk to professionals already in that career field. There are several ways to achieve this. You could randomly seek out various Homeopaths to ask them about practice, their education etc. You could also decide to book an appointment with a Homeopath to experience what it feels like to be a patient and by extension, gain a deeper understanding of the art of Homeopathy. These are both wonderful ways to get a feel for Homeopathic practice.
But imagine you had the opportunity to hear from a Homeopath who has almost 3 decades of experience in clinical practice. Even before starting your Homeopathic training, you could find out what skills you need to develop to attain success in practice. This way, you will be able to cut through the confusion between the so-called ‘modern methods’ of Homeopathy versus the Homeopathy of Hahnemann- the founder of the wonderful art and science known as Homeopathy.
The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) is offering for the first time, to prospective students, the opportunity to meet one of the most experienced and clinically successful Homeopaths in the world. Dr. Joseph Kellerstein will talk about his 30+ years as a Homeopath; what he has learned about this wonderful medicine.

Secondly, Dr. Kellerstein is known around the world for being one of the great teachers of Homeopathy. He has the unique ability to break down sophisticated and complex ideas into easily understandable concepts.
